Disney: Changing All The Time

If you haven’t been to Walt Disney World lately you might be missing out! Currently building the largest expansion ever to Fantasyland, that area of the Magic Kingdom will essentially double in size when complete early next year. The much-anticipated Beasts Castle, which can already be seen, will house Be Our Guest Restaurant, a dining venue that will offer counter-service lunch and table service dinner.
A small portion of the expansion area is opened and includes two Dumbo rides now known as Storybook Circus. Casey Jr’s Splash and Soak, a water play area is also now open.
Expected to open later is the Little Mermaid ride and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train.
Other areas including character meet and greet areas are also planned for the expansion area.
If the expansion of Fantasyland doesn’t get you hyped up, then make your way over to Epcot later this year where Test Track, which is currently being re-imagined, will reopen (late November) and offer a new driving experience!
And if you’re a Captain Jack Sparrow fan, look for the Ledgend of Captain Jack Sparrow to open in Disney Hollywood Studios in the fall.
So if it’s been a while since your last Disney vacation, it might be time to plan another.

  1. stumbled across your blog while geeking out doing some WDW internet surfing! Love finding fellow bloggers. I’m kind of new to the blogging world and just began my adventures back to WDW after a long break. Keep up the good work!
