Taking A Disney Vacation This Summer?

If you’re planning to visit Disney this summer and haven’t started planning, you’d better hurry.
Airfare prices are rising just as fast as gas prices and summer travel To Walt Disney World is popular.
Although the economy still isn’t great, families are once again taking vacations.
Another reason to plan early is to make dining reservations. You can make your dining reservations 180 days from departure and most people do. If you wait till the last minute you may have difficulty getting a reservation at many of the popular restaurants.
If you wait till the last minute you may also have trouble getting the Disney resort you want. Many of the resorts closest and most convenient to the parks book up quickly. Another reason to plan now for summer travel is that Disney is one of those destinations you almost need to do your homework on before you go. If you’ve never been there or haven’t been there for a long time, many things have changed. And the more you know the better prepared you will be to tackle the parks in the busy summer season.
There is a lot of information online and many unofficial Disney guide books to help you plan. You can even purchase touring plans! However, I believe if you do enough homework on your own, you’ll be just fine.
And if you’re waiting for a great offer….don’t worry…if you book and an offer comes up that you can take advantage of, your reservation can be changed.
