Walt Disney World Expansion

Updates and details on the progress of Disney’s largest expansion were presented Tuesday evening during a press conference in the Magic Kingdom.
If you visited Disney in 2010 you likely saw the decorated walls in the Magic Kingdom that somewhat hides the construction project.
The expansion to Fantasyland which is expected to be complete in 2013, will double the size of that area of the park. New ride experiences will include Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, dual Dumbo the Flying Elephant rides in a circus themed area along with a refurbishment and renaming of the roller coaster Barnstormer which will feature Goofy as the Great Goofini. The coaster will take you for a ride high above the circus tent, according to Disney’s Blog.
There will be a Royal Court area in the space where Snow White’s Scary Adventures is currently located where the Disney Princesses will meet and greet guests.
Another major attraction is Beast’s Castle. Inside the castle is the location of Be Our Guest restaurant which will serve counter-service food during the day and be a table service restaurant by night.
Belle’s Village, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour Gifts will also be in the Beast’s Castle area.
Those who loved Belle’s Storytelling in the Magic Kingdom will be happy to know that there will be Enchanted Tales with Belle in Maurice’s Cottage.
